It’s Dubbed “Sammy Hagar and Friends”
Sammy Hagar has announced a Las Vegas residency along with his band, the Circle. He’ll be joined onstage by longtime Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, guitarist Vic Johnson, and drummer Jason Bonham. It kicks off on October 29 at the STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod. Other dates include October 30, November 5 and 6. Some of Hagar’s guests are Jerry Cantrell, Toby Keith, Rick Springfield, and Kenny Chesney.
Tickets go on sale on July 1 and prices start at $100. Doors will open at 8PM and shows will begin at 9PM.
“I want to create the ultimate environment where I can throw the ultimate party, like I have done in Cabo for 30 years for my birthday,” Hagar previously said, “but at another time of year here in Las Vegas, which is really the party capital of the world. I hate to put Cabo second to anything, but I feel in this case it’s gotta take second place to Las Vegas.”
“I’ve been searching the Las Vegas Strip trying to find the right room, ambience and partners to create a very special Cabo Wabo birthday-bash-type environment for my band members and musician friends to create the ultimate party residency,” Hagar said in a separate interview. “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to ‘Sammy And Friends’. You all know the rules. There aren’t any.”
