Paul McCartney gives an incredible performance of Eight Days a Week!

Ain’t got nothing but love babe
So who coined the famous phrase: Eight Days a Week? That’s debatable.
Paul McCartney claims that he asked his chauffeur (while being driven to John’s house in Weybridge) if he was busy, and got the answer “Busy? I’ve been working eight days a week.“
Paul McCartney and John Lennon in a later interview both said it was Ringo’s doing. “He said it as though he were an overworked chauffeur. When we heard it we said ‘Really?’ Bing! Got it”
Although this song was written for the Beatles movie, Help- it has remained one of the Beatles top hits!
It’s such a feel good song! With McCartney bringing this back for a new generation of fans, it takes on a whole new life, and energy.

+Eight Days A Week lyrics below+
Ooh I need your love babe
Guess you know it’s true
Hope you need my love babe
Just like I need you
Hold me, love me, hold me, love me
Ain’t got nothing but love babe
Eight days a week
Love you every day girl
Always on my mind
One thing I can say girl
Love you all the time
Hold me, love me, hold me, love me
Ain’t got nothing but love babe
Eight days a week
Eight days a week
I love you
Eight days a week
Is not enough to show I care
Ooh I need your love babe
Guess you know it’s true
Hope you need my love babe
Just like I need you
Hold me, love me, hold me, love me
Ain’t got nothing but love babe
Eight days a week
Eight days a week
I love you
Eight days a week
Is not enough to show I care
Love you every day girl
Always on my mind
One thing I can say girl
Love you all the time
Hold me, love me, hold me, love me
Ain’t got nothing but love babe
Eight days a week
Eight days a week
Eight days a week
