High schooler, Danielle Geimer, was once a human sidewalk but now has paved a pathway to stardom with her legendary performance of The Animals favorite “House Of The Rising Sun” that blew the judges away. 

“My mother was a tailor, sewed my new blue jeans. My father was a gamblin’ man, down in New Orleans…”

Starting out shaky and nervous, the crowd laughs at her song choice when she exclaims her attempt to live up to the hype of the Animals- but they are quickly shot down and silenced by the power of her amazing voice.

Interesting Fact: The song is rumored to be about a brothel in New Orleans. “The House Of The Rising Sun” was named after Madame Marianne LeSoleil Levant (which means “Rising Sun” in French.)
