“In My Lifetime” is the opening and closing track of the first CD in Neil Diamond’s album of the same name. However, there are two versions that serve as the book-end of the collection. It was released on October 29, 1996 as a part of a rare boxed set containing two other CDs that highlight his biggest hits and even unreleased tracks.
It doesn’t just contain the music but also a booklet with rare photos and other written works by Neil Diamond such as essays. According to Neil Diamond himself, the song “In My Lifetime” is a lot like a “semidocumentary record.”
This is a great treat for all his fans.
